¡Viva México!

San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas are two popular destinations located in the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. Both cities offer a unique experience that combines natural beauty, rich culture, and modern amenities.
Despite their similar names, there are several reasons that make these cities very unique and different from one another.

Our Stay
San Jose del Cabo, located on the eastern side of the Baja Peninsula, is a charming and picturesque town that offers visitors a glimpse into the traditional Mexican way of life. We stayed at the JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa. Tequila Tasting

Taking the Tequila Tasting Class at Cuervo House in San Jose del Cabo is a fun and informative experience for anyone interested in tequila. Led by Jose Cuervo’s great-grandson Jorge Cuervo, the class offers insight into the history and production of tequila, as well as a chance to sample a range of premium tequilas.
The class takes place in an intimate setting that allows for a personalized experience. He even told us what Tequilas NOT to buy. Overall, the Tequila Tasting Class at Cuervo House is a must-do activity for anyone visiting San Jose del Cabo who wants to learn more about tequila and enjoy a unique and memorable experience.
We booked the class through AirBnb Experiences. They went above and beyond to accommodate our large group.

This was some of the best food I ever had. No exaggeration.

The restaurant offers a contemporary take on traditional Mexican cuisine, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and a creative flair. We enjoyed a range of delicious dishes, from fresh ceviche, hummus, grilled steak and seafood, all served in a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant also boasts an extensive tequila and mezcal list, making it the perfect place to enjoy a drink to start your trip in Cabo.

ATV riding in Cabo San Lucas is an exhilarating way to explore this beautiful destination. This tour offered by Viator takes you through both beach and desert terrain, providing an opportunity to witness the natural beauty of Los Cabos from a different perspective, with experienced guides leading the way.

Private Yacht
Though we stayed in San Jose del Cabo, we made sure to spend time in Cabo San Lucas. One of the main attractions in Cabo San Lucas is the famous El Arco, a natural rock formation located at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula. Taking a private yacht on the water in Cabo San Lucas is a fantastic way to experience the beauty of the region. With crystal-clear waters and stunning views of the coastline, a private yacht tour allows for a personalized and luxurious experience.
My friends and I relaxed and soak up the sun, played in the water, and enjoyed a traditional meal prepared by a private chef on board. We even saw whales as we were cruising along. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a fun day out with friends and family, a private yacht tour in Cabo San Lucas is sure to be a highlight of your trip.
We booked our yacht with GetMyBoat. We did a sunset cruise that came with food and premium drinks.
